London Rotation (RICS)

Graduates based in London, will most likely be part of our London rotation scheme where graduates rotate between different specialist departments across our London offices.  This will typically involve four-monthly rotations but can sometimes involve longer stays in an allocated department if it is deemed beneficial for an individuals training.

The teams span a wide variety of specialisms; It is possible to specialise in Commercial, Residential or Planning and Developmentor to have a combined experience.  This is not something we expect you to decide at application stage.  If you would like to apply to this route, please select the Graduate Programme named Surveying (Commercial, Residential and Development), followed by London as your location preference on the application form.

Regional Roles (RICS)

Graduates based outside of London, will be given an individually tailored role, which will provide an excellent experience and increasing levels of responsibility. Graduates working towards the APC, in some cases will have an opportunity to rotate to ensure sufficient experience is gained, but in many teams all of the necessary experience can be gained within that team by working on a range of projects and in conjunction with other specialist teams within the company.

We have Commercial and Development teams within many of our regional offices where there are opportunities for graduates.  There may also be opportunities arising for residential specialists within our Agency, Development, Valuationand housing consultancy teams.

If you would like to apply to this route, please select the Graduate Programme named Surveying (Commercial, Residential and Development), followed by your location preference on the application form.

Applications for these graduate roles can be accessed by clicking here.  In order to enrol as a graduate surveyor, and complete the RICS APC, graduates must hold an undergraduate or post-graduate degree which is accredited by the RICS.  For graduates without an accredited degree, Savills do offer a limited number of non-cognate graduate places where trainees are required to undertake additional part-time study whilst working.
