What is the most memorable project you've been involved
with at Savills? It started when I introduced a new
opportunity - the Severnside Industrial Estate at Avonmouth - to a
client who asked us to manage his bid. We successfully negotiated a
purchase price at the level we recommended, and completed in summer
2007.
Do you enjoy that level of responsibility? It's a
great feeling, particularly when you're involved in a major
project. When I talk to contemporaries at other firms, it's clear
that our freedom to have an impact on really big projects is
virtually unique.
So you've learned a lot? Savills is great for the
range of experience you gain - I don't know anywhere else where you
work in up to six departments in two years. For me, it's the best
way of finding out what you want to do for the rest of your
career.
